Refurbishment specialists, Better Green Group, have been recognised as one of the Top 100 Inclusive UK Employers in 2025, by the National Centre for Diversity.

Ranking sixth in the Most Inclusive UK Workplaces, the award celebrates inclusive cultures and best practice in Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement among businesses. Award winners also included Kier Transportation, Graham Group, The Sheffield College and Inclusion Housing.

With a team of six full-time employees and 58 labour only sub-contractors, Better Green Group is spearheaded by Dee Parsons, Group CEO and Sustainability & Outreach Director, with a mission to design and build commercial and residential spaces by using zero waste policies to help work towards the UK’s Net Zero goal.

Previous projects completed by the specialists have included the 17-phase design and build of 557 bedroom and bathrooms, 90 kitchens and communal spaces at King’s College London’s Stamford Street Apartments and the design and build of the new Canalside development at Manchester’s Co Op Live.

Dee Parsons, Group CEO and Sustainability & Outreach Director at Better Green Group, said: “Our team is at the very heart of everything we do, and as we create a workplace where everyone is seen, heard and feels safe, this recognition shows just how far we’ve come.

“As the business targets new sectors in residential and commercial spaces, it is important that our team shares aligned values and goals, whilst feeling fully supported. This unity enables us to grow effectively and continue delivering exceptional results.”

Solat Chaudhry, Chief Executive at the National Centre for Diversity said: “I send my warmest congratulations to The Better Green Group on successfully reaching number six in the Top 100 Most Inclusive UK Employers Index 2025.

“The inspiring organisations that make the Top 100, demonstrate excellent levels of employee retention and recruitment and clearly demonstrate how they value and respect the people that work for them. What better than to be recognised by peers and those travelling in the same direction towards the common goal of Fairness in the workplace. It is hugely motivational.”
