Shawbrook has strengthened its South East Development Finance team with the appointments of Joseph Wilson as Relationship Director and Aaron Cummings as Assistant Relationship Director, further expanding support for developers and brokers across the region.
The additions follow Shawbrook recently surpassing £3 billion in development funding, marking 10 years of supporting property developers across the UK. As developers navigate evolving market conditions and increasingly complex projects, Shawbrook continues to invest in experienced specialists to support customers throughout the development lifecycle.
Joseph joins with more than 20 years’ experience in banking and property finance, bringing extensive expertise across residential and commercial real estate lending. He has significant experience delivering complex property transactions and building long-standing relationships across the sector.
Aaron brings experience across development finance lending, underwriting and portfolio management, further strengthening the team’s ability to support developers with a flexible, relationship-led approach to funding.
Commenting on the appointments, Simon Knowles, Senior Director, Development Finance at Shawbrook, said: “Joseph and Aaron are two strong additions to the Development Finance team.
