Yorkshire housebuilder Harron Homes has welcomed Zak Green, 24, as Site Manager at its Kings Croft development in Killinghall near Harrogate.

Zak from Barnsley is well established in the construction industry having started as an apprentice bricklayer in 2012 and worked his way up to Assistant Site Manager. His hard work didn’t go unnoticed as he won Apprentice of the Year 2015/16 for a previous employer, as well as Assistant Site Manager of the Year in 2018.

Zak said, “This is a step up in responsibility for me, as Site Manager. From quality control and health and safety checks to liaising with contractors and working closely with the sales team, every day is different but I like the challenge and working with such a great team.

“Harron stood out to me for the luxury homes it builds and I’m enjoying working on the properties on my site in Harrogate.”
