West Midlands housebuilder David Wilson Homes welcomed the Mayor of Solihull to view the progress of its Hampton in Arden development as it takes shape.
With the Ashtree Grove community shaping up on Lapwing Drive, the housebuilder invited Councillor Shahin Ashraf MBE to view the properties under construction at the 96-home development.
The Mayor was given an insight into the plans for the new community on a tour of the site and show homes, alongside Helen Lewis, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes, and the housebuilder’s site team.
The Mayor said: “Seeing the plans firsthand and touring the site, it’s clear that this development will provide high-quality homes and vibrant spaces where people can live, work and thrive. With sustainability at its core, the plans prioritise green spaces, sustainable travel options, and a connected neighbourhood that will benefit future generations.
“The plans also incorporate a dedicated public space where people can come together, enjoy nature and build a strong sense of community. I look forward to seeing this neighbourhood take shape and become a vital part of Solihull.”
Ashtree Grove will deliver an exclusive collection of two to five bedroom properties in the charming village of Hampton in Arden.
As part of the planning agreement for the development, David Wilson Homes will invest £12,000 in bus stop infrastructure to connect its new development to the surrounding communities in Hampton in Arden and Solihull.
Additionally, £20,000 will be allocated to pedestrian crossings and public right of way enhancements, which will make it easier for pedestrians to access the development and travel more sustainably.
On the development itself, the housebuilder has dedicated over 8,000 square metres towards the provision of public open space for the benefit of the community.
Helen Lewis, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes Mercia, said: “It was a pleasure to welcome the Mayor to our Ashtree Grove development for a first look at this brand-new community.
“We are starting to see this exciting development take shape and we look forward to helping a wide range of house hunters progress on the property ladder with a sustainable and energy efficient new home.”
Ashtree Grove currently has a selection of two, three and four bedroom properties available with prices starting from £450,000. With offers such as a 5% deposit contribution and Stamp Duty fees paid on selected homes, it’s a great opportunity for house hunters to progress on the property ladder. For more information about the development, call the sales team on 033 3355 8479 or visit the website at David Wilson Homes in the West Midlands.
