Cambridgeshire Developer Opens Its Doors To Six Expertly Designed Show Homes

Show homes at Barratt and David Wilson Homes’ Hampton Beach development in Peterborough are offering local homebuyers the very latest interior design inspiration.

The show homes, which are now open to all, but preferably by appointment were expertly designed and styled by well-known interior designers, Artspace, meaning homebuyers can be assured they will be up to date with the latest trends.

Barratt Homes at Hampton Beach is welcoming visitors to look at the three bedroom Brancaster and the four bedroom Hesketh and Chester style homes which promise to appeal to a range of home buyers.

Donna Clash, Interior Design Administrator at Artspace, said: “We wanted to create homes with lots of personality and impact. The Brancaster is full of bold prints and textured velvets. The whole house has a vibrant, young feel to it which makes it the perfect space for socialising with friends.

“The Hesketh has a colour pallet of blues and warm taupes, with nods to the lakeside location seen in the artwork and accessories. For the Chester we used a range of chrome, marble and glass to give a contemporary feel throughout the house.”

The homes open to view for David Wilson Homes at Hampton Beach are the three bedroom Cannington, and four bedroom Holden and Parkin styles of home. Each show home has been designed with a wide range of buyers in mind, receiving Artspace’s unique touches.

Donna continued: “We wanted the homes to feel relaxed and inviting. The Cannington had a great dual work from home space that we created, designed with a beautiful calming botanical feel.

“The Holden has a classic, contemporary look and we wanted to build on that. We used a warm and rich colour pallet of muted dusky teals, creating a plush and opulent feel to the property. We wanted the Parkin to have a striking quality to it so we used many statement features, from unique headboards to wallpapered ceilings, creating a grown-up yet fun space to live in.”

Will Phair, Sales Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes Cambridgeshire, said: “The way the show homes have been designed showcases that colour schemes in your home can transform the way you feel.

“It’s always exciting to reveal new show homes and we hope these homes at Hampton Beach will help buyers to envisage themselves living there.”

Located on Waterhouse Way, the new community being built at Hampton Beach is less than three miles away from Peterborough city centre with excellent commuter links to further afield through the A1, A15 and A47. Commuters can also reach London Kings Cross from Peterborough train station in under an hour.

With an abundance of green open space surrounding the development, residents at Hampton Beach can take advantage of the many amenities nearby, including football pitches, cycle routes, expansive parks, along with a number of restaurants and shops.
