Isuzu UK announces a commercial variant of its new D-Max 2.2 pick-up range. Available in all Double Cab versions including DL20, DL40 and V-Cross specifications, the conversion qualifies as a fully commercial vehicle for Benefit-in-Kind and Capital Allowance purposes.

The Isuzu D-Max Commercial maintains its four-door layout, with the commercial conversion to the interior only. The rear seats and seat belts have been removed and a solid bulkhead with mesh viewing screen fitted behind the front seats. A flat phenolic floor is installed, and a rear cab protection panel fitted with mesh vision panel into the flatbed load area. The rear door windows are darkened and the pick-up’s designation identified by a ‘Commercial’ badge on the rear.

Like all Isuzu D-Max 2.2 pick-ups, the new commercial variant can be fitted with optional bedliner to the rear loadspace as well as towbar or canopy, either at point of ordering a new vehicle or as Isuzu aftermarket accessories.

Alan Able, Managing Director of Isuzu UK said: “The new Isuzu D-Max 2.2 Commercial further extends the D-Max pick-up range with both practical and financial benefits. The commercial variant joins the Single, Double and Extended Cab options launched earlier this year, and expands the pick-up’s appeal across broad commercial, utility and agricultural environments.”

The new Isuzu D-Max 2.2 Commercial features a payload capacity of over one tonne and a towing capacity of 3,500 kg. Outputting 163 PS and 400 Nm of torque from its new 2.2 litre bi-turbo diesel engine, a shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive system allows switching between high gear two- and four-wheel drive at speeds of up to 62 mph. A low-gear four-wheel drive mode, coupled with rear differential lock and Rough Terrain Mode are standard across the range.

The new Isuzu D-Max 2.2 Commercial starts from £34,745.00 CVOTR. A full range of finance options specifically for the commercial vehicle is offered through the Isuzu dealer network.  The New Isuzu D-Max 2.2 comes with a five-year, 125,000-mile warranty, UK and EU roadside assistance. The new Isuzu D-Max 2.2 Commercial is now available to order from Isuzu UK dealers.
