Mitie Ireland today announces that it has appointed Gareth Fanning as Business Development Director and Stephen Connolly as People Director. These appointments further bolster the breadth of experience in Mitie’s Executive Team in Ireland.
Gareth joins Mitie as Business Development Director bringing with him over 25 years’ experience of business to business sales. Most recently this was with elevator manufacturer, Otis, where he played a key role in increasing the company’s market share in the construction industry from 5% to 15%. Prior to this, Gareth held senior sales positions with finance and recovery solutions company CRS Group and global food brand Kerry Ingredients.
With over 17 years in senior HR roles Stephen joins Mitie as People Director. Stephen has a deep knowledge of the outsourced services sector having spent more than six years as HR Director of Compass Group Ireland. Prior to that Stephen held senior HR positions with technology company Dell Ireland and capital goods specialist, CNH Industrial.
