Cambridgeshire residents have voted a supermarket as one of the most important amenities to be close to when moving home.
An impressive 43% of people in the county chose somewhere to buy essentials as their top choice, beating other popular facilities such as healthcare services, a post office and even the pub.
Jason Hearn, Sales Director at David Wilson Homes South Midlands, said: “We are not surprised by the high percentage of residents who have said being close to a supermarket is one of the most important amenities to consider.
“With location at the forefront of our minds with each development we build, we strive to provide expertly crafted homes in areas that appeal to a range of buyers.
“These developments are carefully planned to support purchasers, considering all aspects of life including their proximity to main road and rail commuter links, along with important amenities such as shops in the area.
“All of our developments offer buyers the best of both worlds, as they’re set in fantastic locations – whether it be in a city centre or surrounded by open countryside – with plenty to do in the nearby areas.”
The developer currently has homes available at the following sites in Cambridgeshire, Buttercross Park in Whittlesey, David Wilson Homes at Warboys and Romans’ Edge in Godmanchester.
