James Flannery, a renowned figure in the construction industry and Director of Sovini Construction, has rejoined The Constructing Excellence Liverpool City Region Club.
The club is a networking platform for Liverpool's property and construction professionals, fostering knowledge sharing, collaboration, and business opportunities.
"We're thrilled to welcome James Flannery back to the committee," said Will Barralet, Chair of the committee and Director of Owen Ellis Architects.
"His previous leadership was instrumental in the club's growth, and we look forward to his continued contributions to our mission of promoting excellence in construction”.
James’ return to the committee highlights his dedication to fostering innovation and best practices within the sector.
James Flannery said: "I'm thrilled to be back involved with The Constructing Excellence Liverpool".
"The construction industry is evolving rapidly, and I'm eager to contribute my experience in shaping its future. Together, we can drive positive change across our local communities and deliver exceptional projects that benefit our built environment."
Flannery's commitment to excellence is evident in his successful delivery of projects like Morris Meadows, a 149-home affordable housing development in Bootle. This development, recognised as the "Best Affordable Scheme" at the Your Move Liverpool Awards, is part of Sovini Group's ambitious goal to build 1,000 high-quality, affordable homes in the next five years.
As a seasoned professional with a proven track record in construction and land development, Flannery will bring valuable insights to the committee's discussions on sustainability, digitalisation, skills development and social value. His participation will help strengthen the committee's ability to shape the future of the construction industry.
Flannery attended his first committee meeting last week, where he immediately began contributing his wealth of experience and expertise.
