One of the country’s largest developers are hosting events across its sites to get first-time buyers on the housing ladder and help families upsize into their new homes.
Persimmon Homes Wessex will have independent financial advisors on all its sites on Saturday 21st September to advise those looking to leave renting or their parents’ home behind to buy their own property.
The accredited five-star housebuilder is already geared towards first-time buyers, with prices around 20% below that of their competitors thanks to its extensive in-house supply chain and a suite of affordability schemes that can help.
Sister company Charles Church, which specialises in higher specification and larger properties, will be hosting part-exchange events on the day at its outlets in the region.
This sees the developer buy the customer’s current property and then sell it for them, managing the sale, and covering the costs, streamlining the process for the buyer.
Persimmon has sites in Chippenham and Trowbridge whilst it and Charles Church have outlets at Valley Park in Didcot, Wellington Gate in Grove, and Jubilee Gardens in Warminster.
Commenting, Pauline Fletcher – Wessex Sales Director for both Persimmon Homes and Charles Church – said:
“We understand that affordability remains one of the biggest challenges facing people looking to move home, whether they are taking their first step onto the property ladder or searching for a larger home to suit their growing family.
“That is why we are bringing independent financial advisors to our developments and showcasing the range of schemes available to help make home ownership more accessible.
“From support for first-time buyers through to our popular Part Exchange service for existing homeowners, we want to give customers clear advice and practical solutions tailored to their circumstances.
“We would encourage anyone considering a move to come along, speak to our teams, and find out how we could help them secure a brand-new home sooner than they might think.”
