Robertson, one of the UK’s leading infrastructure companies, has appointed Robert Ogg as nationwide director of frameworks.
As part of his UK-wide remit, he will provide strategic support and advice on local and national frameworks, including managing existing relationships as well as identifying potential opportunities.
Robert has more than 25 years’ experience in leading construction practices and delivering major infrastructure projects, most recently as area director for Morgan Sindall. Prior to this, he held the role of framework director with Balfour Beatty.
Scott Wilson, Robertson’s executive director of development, said: “Earning and retaining our place on major industry frameworks remains a key priority for Robertson as we continue to expand the business across the UK, so it’s important that we have Robert on board to provide strategic support.
“Robert’s experience will help shape our responses to framework bids, providing tactical advice and overarching guidance as well as evaluating and monitoring all current frameworks and ensuring regional teams work collaboratively both within the business and with potential partners.”
Robert’s appointment follows a year of several high-profile projects procured through industry frameworks, including the Inverness Justice Centre through Scape Group’s National Major Works framework as well as several projects with hub East Central Scotland and CLEAR Futures.
