The team at Bloor South Midlands has expanded with the appointment of a new marketing manager. Rebecca Hlatywayo completed a Masters in International Marketing Strategy at Northampton University before working at Collingwood Lighting as a Marketing and Communications Executive. She then joined the team at Bloor South Midlands, where she has been working for around a month. The 29-year-old lives in Northampton, not far from the housebuilder’s South Midlands office, based in Swan Valley. Outside of work, Rebecca is a keen reader and likes to constantly learn by listening to podcasts, particularly about self development. Rebecca said: “I’ve always been drawn to marketing. I really like the idea of being able to subtly influence people’s perception of a brand, and draw out all the great things to create a positive image of the company. “I have a huge interest in fashion, interiors and property, so I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in marketing within one of those industries. It’s something I can feel passionate about, which then makes it easier to inspire others to feel passionately about a company too. “I was really drawn to Bloor, because I believe in their brand values and I am looking forward to working alongside the team to bring even more people to know about what we do, and the quality of the homes we build. “I’ve been at Bloor for around a month now and it couldn’t have gone better. I like the environment and I like the people. I feel at peace here and already so involved with everything happening around me. It’s been a steep learning curve but I’ve loved every second of it.” Jack Costello, Sales Director for Bloor South Midlands, said: “We couldn’t be happier to welcome Rebecca to the team. She brings enthusiasm and warmth with her, and we know she’ll have a great impact on our marketing.” For more information on Bloor Homes, visit bloorhomes.com.
