Local housing provider Grand Union Housing Group has agreed a deal with Milton Keynes Development Partnership (MKDP) to develop 34 homes at Bradwell Common in Milton Keynes.
Planning has been submitted for the properties on the one acre site at Hampstead Gate with a proposed start on site in spring 2020 and completion around Easter 2021.
MKDP selected Grand Union as their preferred development partner following an open tender. MKDP especially liked the modern design of the scheme and variety of unit types.
Dave Lakin, Grand Union’s Director of Development & Commercial, said: “Being a local housing association, we know that additional homes are urgently needed in Milton Keynes.
“We will be building high quality, modern homes in a mix of unit types and tenures, to include affordable housing, for a range of customers.
“The submission of our planning application for Bradwell Common coincides with us moving our head office to Kents Hill, Milton Keynes. The move will enable Grand Union to deliver even more new homes, achieving this by working with local communities and key partners such as Milton Keynes Council and MKDP, as well as a range of others which support our delivery, such as Catalyst Land Solutions and Woods Hardwick.”
