Ashberry Homes has released the first properties for sale at a new development in Bury St Edmunds, where construction is progressing well.
Saxon Heath will comprise 132 homes off Marham Parkway, which was launched online by the housebuilder on Saturday 21 August, with buyers having the opportunity to purchase a selection of two, three and four-bedroom houses.
The housebuilder is building 100 private homes at the development, as well as providing 32 affordable homes for local people, including 22 properties for affordable rent and 10 homes for shared ownership.
Saxon Heath will form a major part of Marham Park, a new neighbourhood by a consortium of housebuilders that is set to deliver around 1,000 new homes in the town.
A sales office and two showhomes are set to open at the site in November, a four-bedroom Lisianthus house type and a three-bedroom Orchid – offering house-hunters the first opportunity to visit a completed home at the site.
Emma Hawkins, Sales Manager for Ashberry Homes Essex, said: “Saxon Heath is a development of two, three and four-bedroom homes that is situated within a growing community in Bury St Edmunds, which will be appealing to a range of buyers.
“With the first homes now on the market, and the construction of the two showhomes underway, house-hunters who are looking to settle at the development have the first chance to choose their favourite plot.
“Located less than three miles from Bury St Edmunds town centre and near the A14 for access into Cambridge or Ipswich, Saxon Heath has strong commuter links whilst retaining its rural countryside feel.
“Due to the rising demand for new housing across the region, we are committed to delivering high-quality homes for residents that fit in with the existing communities around Marham Park.
“In the next couple of months, we will be in a position to welcome visitors to the site, when buyers will be able to see the community they could be joining at first hand.”
Ashberry Homes will be joined by Bellway in delivering a total of 330 homes at the Marham Park, with work at Bellway’s neighbouring development, Bronze Fields, currently underway.
A selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes will be delivered at Saxon Heath, with prices currently starting from £274,995 for a two-bedroom Lavender house type.
