David Wilson Homes is outlining a number of exciting new features that its growing Donnington Heights development in Newbury can expect as the community progresses.

The development, which is located off Bastion Street, will benefit from its very own primary school on site, enabling residents with young children the opportunity to shorten walks to and from school.

The consortium will also gain two play areas, giving children the chance to enjoy playtime afterschool and at weekends, without being too far from home.

In addition to the facilities for children, a convenience store and allotment patch will be installed at Donnington Heights, providing residents with access to essentials on their doorstep.

Emma Hawkins, Sales Director at David Wilson Homes Southern said: “We are very pleased at the rate in which our Donnington Heights development is transforming into a tight-knit community.

“The development has a very family-friendly feel to it, due to the number of families we’ve had move in here.

“We’d like to encourage anyone interested in moving to Newbury to come and visit our development where our friendly sales team can provide a guided tour of our many properties available for sale.”

Ever since it first launched in 2021, David Wilson Homes’ Donnington Heights has proven popular with a variety of homebuyers, particularly families, and the development has almost sold around one third of its properties to private homeowners.

The development will provide a total of 220 homes, 40% of which are being allocated to a local housing association as affordable housing.

There is currently a wide selection of three, four and five bedroom homes for prospective buyers to choose from, with prices starting at £477,000.

Among these house types is the Kennett – a versatile, three-storey property which includes an impressive main bedroom on the top floor.
