INTERNATIONAL M&E consultancy CPW is kicking off the new year with a brand-new Bristol office, where it has ambitions to grow its team, presence, and service offering in the region.
With an open-plan workspace across a single floor, CPW’s new address is Vintry Building, Wine Street in central Bristol – a relocation from its previous office, where it was based for ten years.
Based near Castle Park and St Nicholas Market, CPW has taken on 1,000 square foot of office space. The move follows a business-wide rebrand and supports the firm’s long-term strategic growth plans across the South West and provide increased local support for clients.
Dave Poynor, director at CPW, said: “After outgrowing our previous office, the Vintry was an attractive option due to its inner-city location, excellent transport links, and range of amenities. It has also undergone a recent refurbishment, to offer a contemporary, industrial appearance – which is sure to support employee wellbeing, collaboration and innovation.”
The new office is looking to appoint additional building services design staff to complement its current team of nine engineers.
CPW has a strong pipeline of work secured in the South West and has recently been appointed for the design of 425 low-carbon homes in the £75m Parklands Village project near Weston-super-Mare, the £3m University of Reading de-carbonisation project on its Whiteknights campus, and a number of healthcare commissions for various trusts in and around the South West region.
Dave added: “We are experiencing particular growth in the healthcare, residential, industrial and logistics sectors in the region so it’s an exciting time to be based in the South West. As a result, we are looking to expand our team and currently have a number of vacancies, particularly for experienced senior and graduate electrical engineers.
“At CPW, we promote agile and flexible methods of working. We are delighted to present Vintry as a bright, modern, and high-quality workplace for our people to innovate and thrive - whilst strengthening our relationships across the team and in the city.
“As a people-led business, we are constantly evolving and looking for ways to enhance the employee experience. Following on from our re-brand, we are taking pro-active measures to further a positive work culture and we believe the spaces in which we work will have a significant impact in our efforts to achieve this.”
Founded in 1978, CPW works across a wide range of sectors including healthcare, residential, education and more. The new Bristol office looks forward to bringing its wealth of international experience and expertise to its projects and clients.
With a team of more than 240 staff across nine UK regional offices and two international offices in India and Poland, the consultancy specialises in designing and integrating a full range of energy and decarbonisation solutions for new and existing buildings.
