Construction work on 81 new homes is well underway at HarperCrewe’s latest development in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire – which is being built in partnership with the Welbeck Estate.

Passers-by will be able to spot foundations and walls being built at the site off Watnall Road, where the showhome launch event is set to be held on Saturday 31st August.

The first phase of construction includes 81 one, two, three and four-bedroom properties, giving locals the chance to get onto the housing ladder or rent in their own area.

HarperCrewe is set to deliver homes which achieve its aims of creating attractive neighbourhoods and continuing the historical legacy of the Welbeck Estate, while reaching the very highest levels of sustainable design.

Sales and Marketing Director Sarah Boyce said: “Here at HarperCrewe we are quickly becoming known for cherry-picking the very best locations for our homes – and our Hucknall development is no exception, within walking distance of characterful pubs and with plenty of local facilities to ease the stresses of day-to-day life and provide plenty of fun for the whole family.

“Our sustainable designs also set us apart. We future proof all our homes, so that not only can you enjoy huge savings on utility bills and reduced carbon emissions when compared to an older home, you can also experience integrated eco-friendly technology like EV charging points to every home, super-efficient gas boilers and better insulation.

“We’re opening the doors to our showhome for the first time on Saturday 31st August so are inviting people to register their details on our website to be among the first to find out more about properties on our Hucknall development.”

At Hucknall, buyers will be able to take long walks across the 20-hectare Dob Park, watch the latest films at The Arc Cinema at the Byron and enjoy easy access to Nottingham, which offers all the cosmopolitan delights anyone could wish for – including Michelin restaurants, boutique and vintage shops, and independent coffee shops.

To attend the showhome launch event and find out more about the homes coming soon to Hucknall, home-hunters are invited to register their details at harpercrewe.com
