Castle Green Homes has been named as a member of Homes England’s Dynamic Purchasing System.
The appointment unlocks potential to access public sector land.
Simon Finlay, development director at Castle Green Homes, said: “Castle Green is a true hybrid housebuilder, with an almost equal balance between the number of private sale and affordable homes delivered in the last financial year.
“Joining the DPS was a key target for Castle Green in 2026 as it opens up a wide range of public sector land opportunities across Homes England’s national programmes, including projects supporting regeneration and affordable housing delivery, which are central to the company’s continued growth.
“Achieving DPS partner status is the first big success for Chris McAllister since his arrival in the business in December 2025 to spearhead the North West Partnerships business.”
Chris, who has more than 20 years of experience of affordable housing delivery and public procurement, said: “We’re proud to have been named as a delivery partner on Homes England’s DPS. Achieving this strategic objective unlocks further public sector land opportunities to us and raises our profile among local authorities and other public bodies looking for developers.
“Castle Green’s appointment to the DPS reflects and strengthens our commitment to supporting high quality, sustainable development and collaborating with partners across the public and private sector to deliver homes and places that meet local needs. We look forward to working with Homes England and continuing to contribute to Government housing targets.”
Homes England is the Government's housing and regeneration agency.
The DPS is one of Homes England’s main routes for land disposal. Inclusion on the DPS gives housebuilders the ability to bid for these sites. Other public bodies may also use the DPS to procure developers, broadening housebuilders’ exposure to potential projects.
Castle Green is a rapidly growing business, with its head office Preston Brook and a regional office in St Asaph.
Recently named Housebuilder of the Year at the Insider North West Residential Property Awards, the company is continuing to invest heavily in new land opportunities to support its growth.
The business expects to deliver around 600 homes across 16 developments in the current financial year and aiming to reach 1,000 by 2030.
Homes are currently being delivered across the North West and North Wales. With exciting developments in Liverpool City Region and Cheshire, Castle Green has plans to move into the Manchester City Region, Lancashire and Shropshire.
