Stewart Milne Timber Systems has been awarded the Best of Health & Safety Award at the annual Barratt Scotland West Dinner.
Commenting on the win, David Scott, Managing Director of Barratt West Scotland observed the high standards Stewart Milne operate to, especially on the high-risk activities of working at height and crane operations.
Stewart Milne Timber Systems enjoys a partnership with Barratt Developments Plc which has seen the company supply Barratt with off-site manufactured structures across the UK and supply in excess of 700 plots to 19 sites in the West Scotland region in 2018/19. These homes are manufactured in Stewart Milne’s factories, shipped to site and craned into place on site.
Stewart Milne’s Construction Director, David Nimmo, commented: “Health and safety is of paramount importance to both Barratt and Stewart Milne, indeed it’s the number one priority, as the only way to build is safely.
