New Training Manager brings strong technical expertise for hands-on design, installation and commissioning alongside launch of - Zehnder learning management platform, to deliver best practice education and upskill HVAC professionals

Camberley, UK, 2nd April 2026 – Indoor climate specialist, Zehnder Group UK, is proud to announce the appointment of Adam Finley as Training Manager at the newly opened Zehnder Academy.

After almost 11 years with Zehnder as a technical advisor, Adam will now lead the strategic development and ongoing management of the company’s new education facility as well as oversee the rollout of its new integrated Learning Management System (LMS).

In his new role, Adam will focus on delivering hands-on technical training across a full suite of indoor climate disciplines, including HVAC design, installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance, and overall indoor air quality and thermal comfort. He will also be responsible for tailoring the Zehnder LMS training programmes to reflect real industry requirements and on-site challenges that equip HVAC professionals to deliver best-in-class service.

The appointment marks a significant milestone for the Zehnder Academy, which saw its grand opening on 29 January 2026, with Adam taking the reins in his new role before the first trainees arrive in the first week of April.

Having previously served as a trainer and technical advisor at Zehnder, Adam brings strong technical expertise and advanced knowledge in design principles, installation best practice, and practical experience in commissioning and maintaining heating, ventilation, and cooling systems.

Along with the appointment of its new Training Manager, Zehnder is also launching a new Learning Management System (LMS) - a digitised learning platform that makes training and knowledge more accessible to ensure that all HVAC professionals are equipped with the most up-to-date expertise.

This portal will work alongside the in-person training offered at the Zehnder Academy in a digitally structured, measurable learning ecosystem. It will enable the sharing of expertise more efficiently, offer consistent high-quality educational content and reach more industry partners and customers to support long-term learning and engagement.

As Training Manager, Adam Finley will design and deliver courses using the LMS platform. These sessions will combine virtual classroom, instructor-led training and self-paced e-learning modules, focusing on data-driven insights and performance dashboards to link training outcomes to improved installation quality. The idea is to provide trainees with tangible proof points that reduce technical call-backs and enhance ventilation best practices across projects.

“The launch of the Zehnder Academy represents a major step forward in how we support and upskill HVAC professionals across the UK,” said Adam Finley, Zehnder Academy Training Manager at Zehnder Group UK. “Having worked closely with installers, specifiers and engineers in my previous technical role, I understand the real-world challenges they face on site. My focus as Training Manager is to bridge the gap between theory and practice, delivering hands-on commissioning and installation training alongside a robust, accessible digital learning platform.

“By combining in-person technical expertise with our new integrated Learning Management System, we’re creating a structured, measurable learning journey that not only builds confidence but demonstrably improves installation quality, reduces call-backs and drives best practice in indoor climate solutions. It’s an exciting time for Zehnder, and I’m proud to be leading this next chapter in professional education.”

Adam will represent the Zehnder Academy in regulatory working groups and collaborate with institutions and education bodies to broaden the Academy’s reach to ensure training content reflects the latest industry standards and regulatory developments.

Since its launch, the Zehnder Academy has received exceptional support from across the industry, with hundreds of professionals already registered for its inaugural training sessions. Building on this strong early momentum, Zehnder is entering the next phase of its mission to set a new gold standard for HVAC training - appointing a new Training Manager and unveiling its integrated Learning Management System, just days before the first official sessions next week.

As the Academy reaches this significant milestone, the new Training Manager and his team [CC1] of technical experts stand ready to welcome the first cohort of trainees on 2nd April 2026, marking the beginning of a new era in industry-led professional development.
