New Group HR Director promotion at Davidsons Homes

Aug 17, 2023

In March this year, Fran Beet was delighted to be promoted to Group HR Director for housebuilder Davidsons Homes, which has its East Midlands head office in Ibstock and South Midlands head office in Blisworth.

The 35-year-old joined the company in 2018 as a HR Manager and was promoted to a Head of HR position in 2021. She lives in Warwickshire with her two sons aged eight and six, and her firefighter husband.

Fran said: “The beginning of my career with Davidsons was slightly different to the norm – we actually bought a Davidsons home and I was so impressed with our journey as a customer and the build quality of our home, that I knew I wanted to work for the company.

“I really enjoy working in HR – after all, I’ve been doing it for the last 12 years now! My aim is to take care of our team and make sure that we are the employer of choice, to attract talent and keep growing Davidsons Homes in the right direction. We do that by creating the right environment, a place where people really enjoy coming to work.

“I love the company and really enjoy the aspects of my job that are about taking care of people – through strategy, implementing wellbeing programmes, watching employees progress and taking care of their mental health.

“The headcount at Davidsons has doubled since I joined, so it’s a really exciting time to be part of the company. I’m particularly proud of the Building Heroes project, which we run together with Vision West Nottinghamshire College, which has helped to train over 100 army veterans to successfully pass their construction qualifications. This has played a major part in helping them retrain and enjoy fulfilling careers after their time in the armed forces.

“It’s a fantastic time to be part of Davidsons Homes, so I would invite anyone interested in being part of a growing and successful company to keep an eye on our website for new positions as they become available. I know that for me, I have absolutely loved working here and it’s provided me with some amazing opportunities.”
