Kingdom Systems to Debut Complete Solar-Powered CCTV Tower at ScotPlant 2022

As the construction industry is urged to reduce carbon emissions and site theft soars, Kingdom Systems will unveil its first ever complete solar-powered CCTV towers at ScotPlant 2022 in Edinburgh later this week.

UK and devolved governments have introduced new rules for new homes and buildings - and their construction processes - to produce significantly less CO2 in the move towards net zero.

In addition, UK construction site thefts and vandalism cost the industry £800million a year and the recent red diesel ban amidst the fuel crisis looks set to further exacerbate the situation.

In response, Kingdom Systems – the UK leading security provider, part of Kingdom Services Group – has developed the Eco Solar AI CCTV Tower. Designed and manufactured by Kingdom Systems’ in-house engineering team, its high-performance solar panels are powered solely by the sun’s clean and renewable energy.

Its Four 5 Megapixel bullet cameras record high-definition footage 24/7 from the Eco Solar AI CCTV Tower – offering a 360^o field of vision within a 70-metre detection radius. It also provides users with the benefit of two-way multi-directional audio capability, and, for maximum efficacy and usability, its specially developed client app enables remote login to both live and historic footage.

Manufactured from highly robust steel, they also benefit from anti-vandal casing and an anti-tamper protection system for additional peace of mind.

Crucially, this new solar-powered CCTV tower produces zero emissions and requires no external back-up power source. Nor does it compromise any features or functionality compared to hybrid and mains-powered models.  

These innovative six-metre-tall CCTV towers will be live and in action on Kingdom Systems’ ScotPlant stand, as well as throughout the event’s Edinburgh venue, for enhanced security measures for visitors and exhibitors.
