VolkerRail is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Robertshaw as its new professional head of signalling.
Kevin joined the company in March and is taking over the role from Rod Jewell, who is retiring after spending over 50 years in the industry.
Kevin joins VolkerRail from Network Rail and has over 30 years’ railway experience, having enjoyed a career spanning frontline maintenance, supervision, engineering, and asset management. Most recently, he led Network Rail’s national signalling programme through CP5, including the delivery of major signalling renewals and enhancements in Cardiff, East Kent, Birmingham, Thameslink, Liverpool, Derby, Nottingham, Lincolnshire and Motherwell.
Commenting on his appoint, Kevin said: “I’m delighted to join VolkerRail, a company that has built an enviable reputation for the safe, collaborative and efficient delivery of projects.
"I look forward to working with all parts of the business, helping to innovate and further develop our excellent delivery capability.”
