bmv, a BAM Nuttall, Morgan Sindall Infrastructure and VolkerFitzpatrick joint venture, celebrated two wins at the Highways England Awards last week.
The awards recognise the skill, ingenuity and performance of individuals and teams who have helped to progress the Road Investment Strategy over the past 12 months. With eight categories and over twenty awards up for grabs, the evening celebrated industry-leading work.
bmv is currently working on behalf of Highways England to carry out major concrete repair and waterproofing work on the M5 Oldbury Viaduct, between junctions one and two.
The team won both awards they were shortlisted for: ‘Excellence in occupational health and wellbeing’ and ‘Leading in efficiencies and continuous improvement’.
Adam Bunce, project manager for bmv said: “These awards continue to recognise the good work being undertaken by the whole team here at M5 Oldbury Viaduct, as we move towards completion of the northbound carriageway and onto the central reserve works.”
