The Fine & Country Foundation has announced the 17 homeless charities and projects that it is supporting through its first ever grants scheme.
Thirteen UK-based charities, one national youth campaign and three international organisations will benefit from the grant pot.
In March 2018, homeless charities across the UK and overseas applied for up to £15,000 of funding from The Fine & Country Foundation’s first grant programme. The scheme was a huge success, with a wide range of projects and innovate ideas put forward by charities. The applications were assessed in April and the final decisions have now been made.
The Fine & Country Foundation’s national partner, End Youth Homelessness, will receive £20,000 for vulnerable young people in the UK. Internationally, 150 girls from ActionAid Bangladesh’s Happy Homes project will continue to receive support to ensure they are safe and given the best opportunities to make the most of their future.
The projects chosen cover a wide range of support and include: life-skills courses, improving and establishing hygiene facilities, and start-up costs for new homeless charities.
The autumn grant scheme opens on 1st October to all homeless charities and organisations. For full details, visit www.fineandcountryfoundation.com.
