VolkerLaser is delighted to be receiving another Gold Medal Award in the prestigious annual scheme run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

The Gold Medal Award is presented to those organisations who have achieved five to nine consecutive RoSPA Gold Awards. VolkerLaser has won Gold Medal Awards for the last two years, as a result of achieving six consecutive years of Gold Awards.

Phil Parslow, head of HSEQS at VolkerLaser will be collecting the award on behalf of the business at a ceremony in the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, in July.

Phil said: “To be awarded a second consecutive RoSPA Gold Medal Award is a fantastic achievement and everyone in VolkerLaser should take a sense of pride for the part they played in ensuring an award of this level is sustained. To be able to demonstrate continued improvements is vital in ensuring our workplace remains healthy and safe at all times. We can never take our eye off the ball when it comes to Health and Safety, no one day is the same!

“Thorough pre-construction planning and the full implementation of our processes and procedures during the construction phase ensures we have high Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards. Without this we simply would not be able to enter such awards. Let’s look forward to having a safe and healthy 2018 together.”
