Changes to weekday services between Huddersfield, Dewsbury and Leeds will be in place from Monday 24 June to Saturday 20 July as TRU complete major upgrades.
Weekend services remain unaffected but passengers are urged to plan ahead if travelling between Huddersfield and Leeds during the week.
The upgrades include track renewals, environmental and ground surveys, drainage, signal verifications and construction work.
Passengers will be kept on the move via diversionary routes and rail replacement bus services, and are encouraged to check nationalrail.co.uk to plan their journey.
The work is part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade, a programme of rail upgrades between Manchester, Huddersfield, Leeds and York.
