From the resurgence of Wrexham AFC to the continued evolution of the Home of Cricket,
Creagh Concrete is playing a key role in shaping some of the UK’s most high-profile stadia developments
Its involvement in the redevelopment of the iconic Kop at STōK Cae Ras and the Allen Stand at Lord’s Cricket Ground highlights both the scale of its capability and the adaptability of its precast terracing solutions.
At Wrexham, Creagh is supporting the delivery of a landmark 5,500-capacity Kop stand—an integral part of the club’s wider stadium transformation. Designed to reinstate a four-sided ground, the new stand incorporates safe standing, enhanced accessibility and modern hospitality facilities, reflecting the ambition to future-proof the stadium and meet top-tier standards.

Creagh will produce 5,000lm of terracing, step blocks, terrace & raker walls and terrace stairs for the Kop
Creagh’s scope of works also include stairs, landings and finishing works. The project will not only elevate the matchday experience but also help position STōK Cae Ras as a venue capable of hosting major competitions, reinforcing its status as one of football’s most historic grounds.
Meanwhile in London, Creagh’s expertise extends to the prestigious Allen Stand redevelopment at Lord’s, where the company was responsible for the manufacture of the precast terracing elements. Part of the MCC’s long-term vision for the ground, the project will deliver increased capacity, improved accessibility and enhanced spectator facilities, including new hospitality areas and modern amenities across multiple levels. With a design that carefully balances innovation with heritage, the new stand will preserve historic features while introducing modern construction techniques and sustainability measures such as solar integration and BREEAM-aligned targets.

These landmark projects reflect a broader shift in stadia construction, where speed, flexibility and cost efficiency remain essential, but must now be matched by integrated design responsibility, programme certainty and technical precision. Creagh’s approach, centred on offsite manufacturing and early-stage collaboration, ensures that complex terracing systems are delivered with consistency, safety and minimal disruption to live environments.
By manufacturing in controlled environments and coordinating design, production and installation, Creagh reduces build time while maintaining the highest standards of quality and durability. This is particularly critical in high-profile venues such as Lord’s and STōK Cae Ras, where performance, safety and spectator experience are paramount.
From regional stadiums to internationally recognised venues, Creagh Concrete continues to deliver terracing solutions that go beyond traditional expectations
combining engineering expertise with a progressive, future-focused approach to stadia construction.
