Dinnington Town FC Under-16s has kicked off its new season in style thanks to a brand-new kit sponsored by Barratt Homes.
The team has been playing together for 10 years and is looking forward to building on its previous successes in the new kit.
Paul Gregory, Coach at Dinnington Town FC U16s, said: “We were delighted when Barratt Homes offered us a donation to purchase a new kit. We were really pleased that such a recognised company would sponsor the team.
“As the boys continue to grow, it gives them a new kit that fits well and makes them feel better about the team they play for.
“Donations like this show that Barratt Homes is trying to help the area grow and develop, and we’re very thankful for its support.”
Dinnington Town FC U16s, located near Barratt Homes’ Thornberry Gardens development in Dinnington, has players aged between 15 and 16 and plays its games on Sundays.
Gary Chambers, Managing Director at Barratt Homes Sheffield, said: “We’re delighted to sponsor Dinnington Town FC U16s for the season and we wish them the very best of luck.
“As a leading housebuilder, it’s important to us to support local groups and organisations within the communities we build. Clubs such as this bring local people together and create an identity for all people involved.”
Located on Lodge Lane in the popular town of Dinnington, the new community being built at Thornberry Gardens offers semi-rural living with convenient city connections to Worksop, Rotherham and Sheffield.
With a wide variety of amenities practically on the doorstep including shops, cafes and restaurants. Residents can also benefit from Ofsted-rated “Good” schools nearby.
A number of schemes and unique offers are also available when purchasing a Barratt Homes property, including the homebuilders’ Part Exchange scheme.
Through Barratt Homes’ Part Exchange scheme, house hunters can sell their existing property to the developer who then become guaranteed buyers. They will also avoid the hassle of being in a property chain, paying estate agent fees and can stay in their current home until the new one is ready. For more information about any developments in the area, visit the website at Barratt Homes in South Yorkshire.
