A local gymnastics club has landed on its feet after a donation from a Burbage-based developer.
Davidsons Homes has donated more than £1,300 to Hinckley and Burbage Gymnastics Club, helping the growing club purchase a brand-new gymnastics mat to support its young athletes.
The generous donation ensures that the club — which welcomes children of all abilities from across the region — can continue offering a safe and inspiring environment for budding gymnasts to develop their skills.
Davidsons Homes is building just down the road at its Sunloch Meadows development off Lutterworth Road in the town.
Simon Tyler, Sales Director at Davidsons Homes, said: “Supporting local communities is at the heart of what we do. Burbage Gymnastics Club is a fantastic organisation that gives young people the opportunity to be active, confident, and part of something special. We’re proud to help them continue that mission with this new mat, and we look forward to seeing it put to great use.”
The new mat is already making a difference in training sessions, providing a safer surface for practice and allowing more children to take part in classes each week.
Davidsons Homes has a long-standing commitment to giving back to the communities where it builds, supporting schools, clubs, and organisations that enrich local life.
