Housebuilder Bellway has received permission to build a further 200 high quality new build homes in Lathom, near Burscough, in Lancashire.
Located on Neverstitch Road, the new development is an extension of Bellway’s previous Lathom Pastures development that proved incredibly popular with purchasers when it launched in 2018.
With planning permission granted, Bellway will transform the 18 acre site bought from the Neverstitch Road Consortium with an attractive mix of three and four bedroom detached and semi-detached homes from its individually designed Artisan collection.
Carefully considered, all homes benefit from luxury design detailing and a superb internal and external specification to ensure they provide flexible living space for discerning purchasers and modern lifestyles.
The development will also feature three acres of open green space that will form part of the new Ormskirk to Skelmersdale Linear Park.
Sales director at Bellway North West, Jenny Bell, said: “We’re delighted to have acquired an additional piece of land to extend our popular Lathom Pastures development and are looking forward to getting started on site.
“Close to Ormskirk and Burscough and well placed for access to Lancashire’s fantastic open green spaces, Lathom Pastures is in a great location and homes were in high demand; we anticipate this new phase to be equally as popular when homes go on sale towards the end of this year.”
As part of the planning agreement, Bellway has made a Section 106 contribution of £100,000 towards the construction of the Ormskirk to Skelmersdale Linear Park; a new public space for all to enjoy.
Remediation works have just commenced on site, with Bellway hoping to commence build in the next few months. Sales are expected to launch towards the end of this year, with show homes in 2023.
