Appointment of Paul Brewer as Chair of Hub South East

The directors of Hub South East Scotland are pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Brewer as the new Chair of the Board.

Paul has had a long and successful career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), recently retiring from his role as Corporate Finance Partner.

Paul studied Law at Edinburgh University before becoming a chartered accountant, working in auditing, mergers and acquisitions and then public/private sector transactions. As a PwC Partner and corporate finance adviser, Paul focused on infrastructure, energy and government, enabling companies and investors to successfully finance and deliver corporate investment and major infrastructure and service delivery programmes.

In addition Paul is Chair of Council at St George’s School for Girls in Edinburgh.

Paul will take over from Jo Elliot, who has successfully led the Board since the company’s inception, when he leaves at the end of the month.

I’m keen to ensure that Hub South East continues to build on the positive relationships it has established with client in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Scottish Borders, so we can contribute to such positive outcomes.”

Aged 57, Paul is married to Gillian and has three grown up daughters.
