A construction director and his family, from Norwich, have discovered their perfect family haven nestled in the picturesque Norfolk countryside.
Terence (37) and Emma (37) Peasey, along with their three sons, Jack (9), Elliot (6), and Louis (4) and their beloved Labrador, Elsa, have found new residence at David Wilson Homes’ Woodland Heath in Sprowston to mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the family.
Terence, a seasoned director in the construction industry, recognised the quality and craftsmanship of the development as a testament to his understanding of exceptional homes.
The location of their new abode is conveniently situated for his daily commute into Norwich, which made it an excellent choice for their growing family.
Terence said: “Woodland Heath has an excellent location and is convenient for everything. The room sizes of the homes are very generous, and the layouts are nice.
“The house sizes across the development are decent and, with our home, we got a double garage. It ticked all of our boxes!”
After an extensive six-month search for the perfect home, the Peasey family bid farewell to their smaller four-bedroom house in Drayton, Norwich, where both Emma and Terence grew up.
During their search for a new home the family explored various new build home developments around Norwich.
Terence added: “We always intended to buy a new build as so much time was invested in decorating and upgrading our previous home.
“New builds bring peace of mind, and they come with the assurance of a 10-year warranty and insurance from David Wilson Homes and the National House Building Council.”
The family’s move to Sprowston saw them transition into a spacious four bedroom Winstone style home at Woodland Heath.
Terence continued: “When we got the keys, I felt elated. It was very surreal.
“Our new home brings the benefit of more privacy, lots of parking, and so much more space which is great for entertaining guests.
“We spend most of our time in the kitchen and diner, but my favourite room is the main en suite bedroom. I plan to set up the study too for my occasional home working days.”
The family's decision to opt for David Wilson Homes' Part Exchange scheme not only simplified the sale of their previous house, but also brought them several significant benefits.
By entrusting the developer with the sale of their existing property, they were able to expedite the process, allowing them to move into their new home swiftly and with minimal hassle.
Terence said: “Part Exchange made the process really simple for us. Plus, we were delighted to get a cash bonus for selling our previous home.
“The scheme enabled us to reserve our new home straight away and took the worry out of putting our old home on the market.”
The Peasey children have all smoothly transitioned to their new schools, settling in happily in their new neighbourhood.
Terence praised the community and homebuilder’s customer service.
He added: “The development has a lovely community feel, and all the neighbours that we’ve met so far are great!
“Our experience with David Wilson Homes and its employees has been very good all the way through, and we’re all absolutely delighted with our new home.”
