2022 is set to be another exciting year for first time buyers hoping to get onto the property ladder, and homeownership is no doubt on their New Years’ resolution list. As buyers question where to find the support and guidance they so desperately need, First Time Buyer Magazine is paving the way by championing industry leaders doing just that.
The First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards celebrate the individuals and companies that are hard at work keeping the cogs turning in the property market. As early bird nominations opened on Monday 6th December 2021, the judges are looking forward to finding out more about how industry experts are going beyond the call of duty to help make homeownership even more accessible in 2022.
This year, the organisers are making tweaks to several award categories, alongside introducing the Best Use of Online Tools and Best Provider to the First Time Buyer Market categories. Organisers will also introduce the Best Medium Development category into the mix, which covers developments with 31 to 80 homes. This category will sit alongside the already existing Best Small Development (up to 30 homes) and Best Large Development (81 or more homes) categories.
Changes will also be made to the Judges Unsung Star category, as organisers are hoping to see more nominations for individuals at all stages in their careers, who have gone the extra mile to help first time buyers.
Lynda Clark, CEO of First Time Buyer, says: “It’s always an exciting time going into a new year, especially as we have ambitious plans for 2022. Homeownership is on the radar now more than ever before, as landmark changes to the property market mean that there is a wealth of support available to first time buyers, and it’s important we take notice of those driving the change.
“I anticipate a year characterised by innovation - the bar is high, but after a phenomenally successful 2021 awards event, I have every faith that the industry is up for the challenge. The First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards are an opportunity to celebrate and share best practices, and I look forward to reading all of the entries this year.”
