Isuzu UK is excited to announce a collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Studios, based on the iconic franchise for the upcoming Masters of the Universe film, to be released by Sony Pictures across UK cinemas from 3rd June.
The Isuzu UK collaboration runs in Isuzu retailers with opportunities to win a holiday to Reykjavik and film merchandise goodie bags on social media channels, going live early May. The campaign focuses on the synergies between the new Isuzu D-Max Electric Vehicle’s capabilities, and MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE characters’ other-worldly powers. The Isuzu UK collaboration challenges those considering the all-electric version of the rugged D-Max pick-up, with taglines including ‘Discover true power’, ‘The power and the glory’, and ‘A fully electric, fully capable warrior’.
In MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, Director Travis Knight brings the legendary franchise back to the big screen in this epic live-action adventure. After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) back to Eternia where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto). To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), and embrace his true destiny as He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe.
George Wallis, Head of Marketing Isuzu UK said, “The new MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE film is electrifying: it’s power-full, exciting and new, just like the Isuzu D-Max EV. Isuzu UK is delighted to enter this partnership with Amazon MGM Studios, featuring the first ever fully electric, fully capable 4x4 pick-up with over one-tonne payload and 3.5 tonne towing capacity, albeit not with all the abilities of He-Man!”
