Leading service provider Amey, is proud to announce that they have been recognised for their ‘exceptional safety performance’.
Amey received the award in relation to a substation refurbishment project they are carrying out on behalf of National Grid in Stocking Pelham, Hertfordshire.
The awards were presented by National Grid’s Capital Delivery Director, Ian Cartwright who said: “It’s great to be recognising the world class Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability performance that your teams have delivered over the last 12 months.”
James Goode, Senior Project Manager added: “Amey have shown excellent progress across the Pelham project and a great commitment to HSEQ over the last year.”
Commenting on the award, Amey’s Power Director, David Tong said: “We are pleased to be supporting National Grid in meeting its capital investment objectives through our participation on the Substations Framework programme, providing design, installation and commissioning services. Receiving this award is excellent recognition for a safe and well managed project. It demonstrates our commitment to safety across Amey and is testament to the dedication of our teams.”
